Wednesday 7:30am-10:30am Coffee and Pastry Setup and Serving

This is your opportunity to come volunteer at Malachi's Storehouse during our busiest day of the week! We distribute groceries and clothing to hundreds of families each Wednesday in our drive-through process. Families are invited to shop for clothing under our outdoor pavillion and are served coffee and pastries. We need help setting this station up, serving, and cleaning up.

Our organization works best with a group of consistent volunteers. These shifts are designed to let you try out volunteering at Malachi's in order to see if it's something you'd like to do on a regular basis.

Requirements:

Arrive on time and stay until the end of the shift.
Willing to possibly be outside for the entire shift, rain or shine, hot or cold. This position takes place under a pavillion so you'll be sheltered from rain, but be prepared to be outside.

This shift will include activities such as:

Making coffee and transporting the large canister of coffee to the outdoor pavillion.
Cutting pastries and arranging on platters.
Preparing hospitality station.
Conversing with clients and helping to serve coffee/pastries.
Cleaning up hospitality station.
