Saturday 11am-12pm - Helping to unload truck, put away food
This shift requires volunteers to be at 4755 N. Peachtree Road, Dunwoody, GA, by 11:00 a.m. to help unload the delivery truck when it arrives. The truck typically carries 2–4 pallets of food that must be disassembled, weighed, and stored in the refrigerators and freezers.
Volunteers for this shift should be able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds. Volunteers must also arrive on time and be prepared to stay until the work is completed, if needed.
