MLK Serve and Learn: Prep meals at Carver Houses

This MLK Weekend of Service, deepen your commitment to justice by reflecting on the enduring legacy of Dr. King’s fight for civil rights and learning about its connection to the ongoing struggle for food security in our communities. Turn your learning into meaningful action through working at Carver Houses on Sunday, January 19th, and help support food justice in NYC. Volunteers will prepare meals at NYCHA Carver Houses for their community fridge pantry. IMPORTANT DETAILS: Open to adults 18+. Please wear pants and close-toed shoes and be prepared to be active. This project is generously funded by UJA Federation of NY.
