Papa Mike's Cafe Restaurant Volunteer Team
Volunteer servers will be expected to:
-Maintain a friendly and welcoming environment
-Regularly check-in with guests to see if they need anything
-Take food orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system
-Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
-Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately
-Providing attentive service to guests, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
-Promptly addressing any issues and referring to management when necessary
-Perform some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen, and in the dining area
Time Commitment: 20 hours per week. Café service shifts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are in 3 to 4 hour blocks, depending on the number of guests. Please anticipate being present for the entirety of a single meal shift. Example: 7am to 11am for breakfast.
Requested length of service: Papa Mike's Café is an ongoing volunteer opportunity. We have a flexible schedule, with shifts available from 7am until 6pm, seven days a week. Please contact us for more details.
